No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs. No account needed. When you open the app it sends only a random install id, the app and Android version and the language, so we can count users and show update notes. Share links are encrypted on your phone. Privacy policy

FAQ

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes, for personal use: no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. Companies can buy a company account with their data, stamp and employees; the app itself stays free.

Is the signature legally binding?

It is a simple electronic signature under eIDAS. It is valid evidence and enough for most business documents that need no special form. It is not a qualified electronic signature and does not replace the German written form (§ 126 BGB), e.g. for terminating an employment contract.

Can I edit the text of an existing PDF?

You can add text anywhere and change existing text by covering it and writing the new text in the same place. "Flatten page" removes the old text from the file for good.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. Everything happens on your phone. Only when you create a share link is the file uploaded, encrypted on your phone first, so our server cannot read it. Links expire after 1 to 30 days.

Do the invoices meet German requirements?

The invoice template checks the mandatory fields of § 14 (4) UStG and can create ZUGFeRD / Factur-X e-invoices. You stay responsible for the content and for keeping invoices 8 years.

How does a company account work?

The company admin gets a company panel at pdf.ucagg.de/company: company data, logo, stamp, employees. Employees sign in in the app with their company email and an emailed code - no passwords.
